Incredible!!! I got the cheese melt with turkey which was recommended by the wonderful owners Mrs. Jenny and Mr. Mike and it was incredible!! It was honestly the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. I also got a charcuterie board and the California cheese and turkey for my friends and they said it was the best cheese and sandwich they have ever had as well. 100000/10 recommend this spot!!!

We used Smallgoods Cheese Shop & Café in La Jolla to cater a recent business event, and it was an absolute hit. The spread was not only visually stunning but offered an incredible variety that had something for everyone, from artisan cheeses and charcuterie to unique accompaniments that elevated the entire experience. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, it was one of the highlights of the event! The team at Smallgoods was easy to work with, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend them for any event, big or small. We'll definitely be using them again!

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had! Fresh and delicious ingredients that all complimented each other perfectly. The owner was incredible as well. If we didn't all travel all the way from Canada, we would all be there weekly! Thanks again!

SmallGoods did another amazing job with a beautiful cheese plate! I love how they pick interesting cheeses that are always crowd favorites!! Their plates are also the prettiest cheese plates I’ve seen thanks to edible flowers, artfully arranged meats & cheeses & fruits, and more. Love using Smallgoods for any party and working with Jenny & Mike! PS - their sandwiches are the best in San Diego!

Today is my 2nd day in a row ordering a turkey sandwich. Absolutely unbelievable quality and taste. I am a self-proclaimed sandwich aficionado and I am rarely impressed by any old sandwich. This place is incomparable to any other sandwich place in San Diego. They definitely know what they’re doing!

I have been enjoying Small Goods since before they had their brick & mortar store. Their thoughtful selections of cheese and meat are always spectacular! They know their selections and are so helpful if you are shopping for specific pairings. Their charcuterie platters are made beautifully with great attention to detail. We love that they will select the items for your platter based upon your needs or wants!

This place is a gem. My wife and I absolutely loved our sandwiches. It has a cute vibe that is very inviting. They are very helpful if you arent sure what you want. They have won a lot of awards for their food and service and it is well deserved. Update: right after I left this review the owner came by and gave us some free cheese, including one that is no longer being made. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Haven’t had an experience like this since my SF days. Artisanal, creative, delicious, cute, friendly vibes, all adjectives you will feel after coming to Smallgoods. The sandwich was better than anything I’ve created in months and it’s not this 1000 item menu. It’s simple, straight to the point, and highlights the best they have to offer. But they also have charcuterie trays, they cater and they have tons of cured meats and cheese you won’t find in the a Whole Foods or Sprouts. And the owner is super friendly and helpful with anything you need to know or maybe even don’t know. Yes, my new lunch spot when working out of LJ.
